Much branched, large shrubs or small trees; branches terete, green, succulent, dichotomously branched. Leaves alternate, scaly, cauducous. Cyathia subsessile, peduncled cymes, either terminal or in forks of branches, yellowish-green; bracts triangular-semiorbicular; glands oval, broad, without petaloid appendages.
