Straggling or climbing shrub; Leaves coriaceous, elliptic-oblong, margins crenate-serrate, leaf glabrous, shiny on upper surface and dull green on lower surface. Flowers yellow; pedicel slender, small. Petals 5 pale green, membranous on margins. Anthers orange coloured, 3 in number. Fruit globular, with persistent ovary base orange coloured when ripe.
