A herb. Basal stem is woody, young stem quadrangular, purple coloured. Stem hairy along internodes. Leaves elliptic, apex acute, base tapering acute. Inflorescence terminal verticillaster, each

cluster 5-7 flowered, Calyx two lipped, upper lip hairy. Corolla white in colour. Stamens projected out of corolla mouth.
